Tamiya Sanding Sponge Sheet 400

When there's real material to shift — chunky mould lines, sprue nubs, heavy seams — you start coarse. Tamiya's 400-grit sanding sponge does the shaping work, its flexible foam base moulding into curves and corners a rigid sanding block would skip straight over. Cut it to size and sand wet or dry on plastic, wood or metal.

• Removes heavy protrusions and seams fast

• Wet-sand or dry-sand, and trim to whatever size the job needs

Get the shaping done here, then work up through the finer grits for a glass-smooth finish.
